Headlands: Day 2

2nd day of L'esprit de corps: The Officer's Club was reorganized into a setup more befitting a thusly named establishment, complete with military green tables and chairs. A banner was made with a map of the world, where everyone who came up for a little presentation preceding dinner could map out where they had been to work with other people, where they had lived, where they had gone, past lives, and future trajectories.

Later the core of the corps gathered on the porch of the Doghouse and set about drafting toys from the collection and building up the narrative of a game. Some key characters included the Dragon Lord, and his evil scheme to addict the population to Dragon Lord Food (trademark Dragon Lord); the sick king on his roving temple bed; the rabbit oracle hidden deep within the folds of his temple, emerging to give prophecies to the land before retiring, in the tradition of his kind, to the woodchips; the monkey, who did very little beyond shriek madness into the void but whose death at the hands of a renegade soldier inspired a great monument against the random destruction of war where once there had been an object-nullifying yawning emptiness; and the Schwarzencar, whose assassination of the dragon (not the lord) led to an era of peace, in spite of its (green) bloody opening.
